Meesh Maxwell, Intern

Meesh (she/they) is currently in the MSW program at the University of Utah. In 2020 she graduated from Utah Valley University with an integrated Bachelor's degree in Earth Science and Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. Meesh has an extensive background in victim advocacy, specifically working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She also has experience in child welfare, working with high-risk youth, and vulnerable populations. 

Meesh is a self/published author to Nature Journal, an interactive book encouraging outdoor therapy and mindfulness. Clinically, her goals are to help clients work through depression, anxiety, and trauma through talk therapy, art therapy, and practicing mindfulness. 

In her free time, Meesh enjoys spending time with her pup Rupert, climbing, reading, and managing a healthy balance between being active, social, and a homebody.
