Charlotte attended Westminster College for her undergraduate degree, with a major in Political Studies, Global Politics emphasis and a minor in Psychology. While at Westminster, she made a friend who changed the course of her life, Logan. Logan was a wonderful person who suffered from mental health and substance abuse issues, which resulted in his incarceration and significant decline. Seeking to change dysfunctional systems, Charlotte attended Weber State University, graduating with a Master of Criminal Justice in 2018. She worked for Pretrial Services; a county-wide incarceration diversion program located in the Salt Lake Metro Jail for nearly four years. However, she started to feel she could be of more service to vulnerable populations in a different field. Thus, Charlotte attended the University of Utah Master of Social Work program. She graduated in 2020 with a Master of Social Work, Child Welfare emphasis. She hopes to make a difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults and prevent more tragic stories like her friend, Logan.
Charlotte enjoys working with diverse populations of clients. Her first-year practicum was with the Utah Juvenile Defender Attorneys, working with adolescents with juvenile court involvement. After graduation, she remained with Pioneer Youth and Community Services for continuity of care. She then began her career in private practice with A New View Counseling and Psychological Services, in Riverton, Utah. She previously worked as a line staff in a locked residential facility for adolescents, direct care staff for children on the autism spectrum, and in the Salt Lake County Jail. Charlotte enjoys working with clients of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, life changes/adjustments, developmental trauma, and ADHD. She also works with children and teens experiencing divorce and transitioning to a blended family.

I am an advocate for self-care and collaborative, team-based approaches to mental health. Mental health is a marathon, not a sprint.
In my personal time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, hiking, painting, and spending time with friends and my cat Tulip. Lately, I have been spending a lot of time renovating my first home and working in my yard. I also have a deep appreciation for metal, rap, and ‘80s pop music.
My Philosophy: "I believe in extensive psychoeducation and normalization of the client’s symptoms, thoughts, and feelings. I encourage all my clients to foster more self-compassion."
Accepted Insurances: Aetna, EMI, PEHP, Select Health, Cigna, BCBS.
