Ray is an intern completing his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University in early 2025. He has well over a decade’s worth of Mental Health experience in a variety of settings, including a residential addiction facility, a psychiatric hospital, youth services, a group home for the developmentally delayed, and long-term residential treatment facility for male adolescent offenders. He has worked with clients facing such difficulties as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, trauma, addiction, developmental delays and more. He has also worked through struggles to control his own difficulties with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and religious trauma which is what led him to this line of work. LGBTQ+ Affirming.
Outside of work, Ray enjoys being creative including painting, DJing electronic music, writing, and cooking, but concerts are his favorite pastime. Family and friends are most important to him, and he makes sure to take time to be with them. He firmly believes in the importance of taking care of himself so that he can more fully help you take care of you.
