Jim graduated from BYU-Provo in Family Science and is in the final internship phase of his masters in clinical mental health counseling. Jim employs a constructivist approach including using narrative therapy and play therapy. Jim has experience working with families, couples, individuals, and kids.
As a 25+ year American Sign Language certified interpreter, Jim enjoys his involvement in the Deaf community. He welcomes deaf and hard of hearing in his practice. When Jim is not interpreting or hanging out with his friends, he is definitely kayaking, at home with his wife and five kids, gardening, or building his 1:1 scale R2-D2.
